These bad boys might as well be sport bikes – at least they look like them. They’re used on both pocket bike and kart racing tracks. The speed of these are about 20 – 45mph. There are gasoline (four-stroke) and electric versions. Thanks to China, these bikes are growing in popularity in the States and Europe.
True to their name, these bikes are little scooters – little “tykes” that move around like little bugs on motor racing tracks and events. Boy are they fun. Now, they’re as integral a part of minimoto racing as all the other bikes. Ever been to a minimoto competition? Fun for you and the kids.
HOW ARE THE BIKES PREPARED FOR EXTREME RACING?
Pitbike racing is a variance on “Supermoto racing” and the bikes are a supped version of standard Pitbikes. The wheels are a bit smaller and special precautions are taken for any possible accidents.
Mini choppers are minimotos that look like the choppers you see with the dudes wearing the leather jacket, bike screaming down the highway… or sometimes they ride in packs. But these bikes are TRUE minimotos – real cuties.
Now, there are minimotos that are a bit bigger than pocket pikes. Good for those who are a bit taller. But still, these motos are small comparison to regular motorcross bikes. Now these travel a bit faster going from 35 – 45mph! Check out Honda for some of those…
